obsession 653: concrete.

My current obsession is all things concrete. Honestly I have been in love with concrete for ages. I am desperate for a concrete kitchen counter. And yes, I know that it cracks, etc. but I think that might be part of the charm? Also, it is ridiculous heavy so I would have to rebuild the whole bottom counter area to support. (still totally worth it)
Here are some pics:

I mean come on; how do you NOT love these stools. So amazing.

This whole bathroom is tough and cool and hard and easy. I can't imagine using this everyday and not being joyfully happy.

This is the kitchen sister to the previous bathroom. It's like IKEA met Design Within Reach, they fell in love, and created a beautiful bouncing kitchen. (minus the hipster record player. So predictable)

This one makes me feel like I am in a rustic Italian villa. The mirror adds just the right romantic touch.  Amazing.

Final thought. Jewelry. but not just average jewelry. Gorgeous. Simple. Clean jewelry. Feels like you could, almost, make it yourself.

In the begining.

In the begining there were two sisters. Who lived states apart. One was a crafter who played with different mediums and could recreate art or homewares fairly well. The other had the eye for design and finding the art.

They are Penelope and Imogen.
